The rugged, handheld LinkRunner AT Network Auto-Tester provides the fastest way to solve network connectivity problems and is one of our most popular products. Originally LinkRunner was a Fluke Networks product, then Netscout and now NetAlly are the owner. 

With cable and network tests, LinkRunner enables staff to quickly and thoroughly validate links, troubleshoot connectivity and document as they move or add devices on the network. 

The LinkRunner Family

It started with LRAT-1000 & 2000. Then LinkRunner G2. Followed by LinkRunner 10G. In 2024, the LRAT-3000 & LRAT-4000 arrived. And now we have LRAT-1500 too, launched in March 2026.

What are the different LinkRunners?

  • LinkRunner AT 1500 – copper only, connect and verify up to 1G, Auto-Test, nearest switch/port/VLAN, PoE up to 90W, cable test length/wiremap, android platform, Support is optional
  • LinkRunner AT 3000 – all the features of LRAT-1500, but copper and fibre 1G connectivity, Support is optional
  • LinkRunner AT 4000 – all the features of LRAT-3000 plus Network Discovery, Network Topology Mapping (in Link-Live & requires active AllyCare Support), Switch Port stats, L2/L3 Path Analysis, Packet Capture, iPerf Test App and includes 1 Year of AllyCare Support
  • LinkRunner 10G – all the features of LRAT-4000 but with connectivity up to 10G

What’s the replacement for my old LinkRunner?

  • LinkRunner AT 1000 – the replacement is LinkRunner AT 1500
  • LinkRunner AT 2000 – the replacement is LinkRunner AT 3000
  • LinkRunner G2 – the replacement is LinkRunner AT 4000

Choosing standard unit or KIT and Support

The LRAT-3000 & LRAT-4000 come as either the standard unit or the KIT. The additional accessories in the KIT are WireView Cable IDs #2-#6 and a Holster.

The LinkRunner 4000 comes with 1 Year of AllyCare Support included. For LinkRunner 1500 & 3000 the AllyCare Support is an optional extra. The benefits of AllyCare are technical assistance, warranty repair/replacement, software updates and access to additional features in Link-Live.
