LinkIQ Cable + Network + WiFi Tester

Fluke Networks have two models in their successful LinkIQ™ product line. 

• LinkIQ 100 is a copper cable tester designed to verify cable performance up to 10G.
• LinkIQ DUO has all the features of the LinkIQ 100 with the addition of wireless connectivity testing up to 6GHz. 

Wired Testing

If you’re looking to know how fast the network can run over your cabling. To determine if the existing cabling link can support a specific service (such as 1Gig or 10Gig ethernet). And that its connected correctly. Then this tool does just that.

Using it’s RJ45 port LinkIQ generates test signals in the same data frame format as the service you are testing for, and checks they get to the other end in a useable state. A speed reading is reported.

Use it to test copper cable links up to 305 m, get a wire-map of the pairs and distance to fault (such as opens, shorts and unterminated). Plus PoE testing up to Class 8 (90W).

LinkIQ includes IP ping and provides nearest switch diagnostics including advertised data rate, switch name, port number and VLAN information.

Fibre Connectivity

Both LinkIQ models come with RJ45 copper connectivity as standard. So, if you want to connect to a fibre port to verify connectivity you’ll need a Fibre Media Converter kit. The Fluke FMC kits come in either 1G or 1G/10G and includes a media converter, power bank, SFP transceivers & fibre patch cords, all in a handy case. No additional firmware is required.

Wireless Testing

LinkIQ Duo comes with additional functionality for those looking to troubleshoot wireless up to WiFi 6E. All three bands are supported (2.4, 5 and 6GHz) with data provided on networks, channels and access points.

Additional features & Reporting

Additional features include Analog & Digital Toning, Port Blink, 802.1x authentication and Remote Locators. All results are managed via LinkWare PC, Fluke Networks’ reporting software.

Models, Options & Support

Standard Model or KIT : When buying the LinkIQ 100 or the LinkIQ DUO you need to choose whether you want the standard unit or the KIT. The extra items in the KIT are the Remote IDs #2-7 and an IntelliTone Probe, plus a slightly larger case. 

Fibre Media Converter : Remember if you need fibre connectivity, you need to source a Media Converter, or buy the Fluke FMC kit. 

Industrial Ethernet : For those customers with Industrial Ethernet, there is an adapter set available for testing of M12X, M12D and M8D terminated cables.

Support : All models of LinkIQ have optional Support available as a 1 Year or 3 Year contract. Support covers warranty repair, software updates and technical assistance.

LinkIQ models are a stock item.
