Allegro Network Multimeter range offers fast and affordable network troubleshooting. The appliances, starting under £5k, can be deployed in less than 60 seconds and no set up is required.
By analysing and correlating all data across network layers 2 to 7, detailed insight is provided for both real-time network traffic and historic. Network problems can be detected with just a few clicks, performance bottlenecks identified and packet losses detected.
With a user-friendly interface the search function allows you to sort, search and filter by MAC or IP addresses, ports, VLANs, TCP handshakes, HTTP latency and more. Drill down and extract as a pcap – reducing Wireshark analysis to just the specific traffic of interest. The availability of historic data means it’s simple to look back, see what happened and discover who/what was the culprit.

- The small portable 200 & 500 models for copper 1Gbps connectivity are available to purchase below. Whilst the new 800 is designed for those with larger 1G networks, offering more monitoring ports and bigger memory.
- The 1000 & 3000 series support customers with 10G to 100G connectivity requirements. Available as portable or rackmounted, the internal memory can be extended to 512GB storage, and there’s further storage expansion options using SSD/HDD. The Allegro 200 can analyse traffic data for up to 50 PCs or servers. With 2 x 1 Gbps ports it enables highly accurate analysis via inline on the link, or through the use of up to two mirror ports. This portable appliance has 2 GB internal memory - however an external hard disk or SSD can be connected via USB 3.
The Allegro 500 appliance, offers a step up from the 200, twice the size it comes with 4 x 1 Gbps ports, 4GB or 8GB internal memory, and optional external hard disk or SSD can be connected via USB 3.
The Allegro 800 appliance comes in two flavours; portable or rack-mounted. Both offer 7 x 10/100/1000BaseT monitor ports, with internal memory ranging from 16GB to 128GB and ring buffer SSDs from 960GB to 3.84TB.
Allegro 1000 series
The Allegro 1000 and the Allegro 1200 (portable or rack-mounted), offer 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps analysis for up to 10,000 devices. The standard version offers 2 x SFP+ for 1G and 10G SFP modules, 5 x 1G-BaseT for analysis and 1 x 1G-Base-T as a management port. In addition, there are expansion cards for up to 4 x SFP+ ports, 2 x 10G-Base-T ports, 4 x 1G-Base-T ports, 2 x SFP28, 2 x QSFP28 or 2 x SFP+ with GPS connections for exact time stamps to the nanosecond. The standard version is equipped with a 16 GB memory, but this can be expanded to 64 GB or 128 GB.
Allegro 3000 series
Allegro 3000 appliances are suitable for ISPs, large enterprise networks or data centres for link analysis on nodes with a load exceeding 10 Gbps. This enables real-time and historical analysis for up to 40 Gbps traffic. With optional 25G (2 x SFP28) and 40G / 100G (2 x QSFP28) expansions, the Allegro 3000 series are the ideal analysis appliance for 25, 40 or 100G networks. The Allegro 3000 series incorporates a 64 GB internal memory in the standard version, expandable to 128 GB. As with the Allegro 1000 series, internal hard disk, NVMe SSD or external USB 3 HDD / SSD can be used as ring buffers.
