By experiencing network performance without affecting it, PathView can:

   • Show route changes through the network and the impact this has on performance
   • Tell the exact time & hop when poor throughput, data loss or slow response were seen
   • Compare the performance by link type against set target metrics
   • Plot the performance of specific applications like Voice and Web

PathView can track all of the above and plot the results through time, some examples are:
Example 1: A graph of stated bandwidth vs actual bandwidth vs utilised bandwidth vs spare capacity.

Example 2: Routes through the network, how they vary and the impact this has on throughput times.

Example 3: How much delay there is on the link and more importantly the point at which the delay occurs - in the picture below we can see its the last hop

Example 4: By setting target metrics by link type the performance of each metric can be plotted.
