The FiberOWL 4 test kits are ideal those requiring standards-based certification of fibre links, including TIA-568 and ISO 11801.
In addition, the kits are 10-Gigabit Ethernet ready, allowing certification of fibre links for 10-Gigabit Ethernet.
The FiberOWL meter has a built-in loss wizard, stores physical fibre information and up to 1000 measured data points with labels. The stored information can be selectively viewed or edited and formatted reports can be printed directly via the USB port or downloaded to a spreadsheet or the free OWL Reporter software to produce formatted certification reports.
Other standard features of the meter include a large, backlit, graphic LCD display, a long battery life and a fixed universal fiber adapter that accepts ST, SC, and FC connectors equally well without the need for extra adapter caps!
