Ekahau's Real Time Location System (RTLS) accurately locates people, inventory and assets across your Wi-Fi network - offering sub room-, room-, floor- and building-level accuracy.
Wireless tagging allows you to see how your investments are being used (which locations are using them and how much time they are in use), tracks the location of valuable assets (equipment and people) to specific rooms if required and provides a historical trail of where an asset has been. 
Once deployed, all tag interactions are done through the existing wireless infrastructure. You have complete control of your system, including how many tags are deployed, their status and precise location. Tags can report in at timed intervals, when a tracked object moves or stops moving, in response to a button press or when triggered by a tamper sensor or help switch.

The system uses patented software-based algorithms to compute the location of tracked objects and can easily scale to support tens of thousands of tags on a single server. For those with Cisco WiFi networks: Ekahau is a member of Cisco Developer Network (CDN) and its Wi-Fi tags are Cisco CCX certified. In addition, Ekahau RTLS Controller (ERC) software has gone through rigorous Cisco Assurewave testing for critical industrial environments.
