You do not have to be an EtherScope owner to participate in thes days, anyone interested in learning about the tool.
As the premier EtherScope provider in the Northern UK, it has become apparent to us that an abundance of businesses that purchased the EtherScope Network Assistant are not getting the most from their investment.
To that end, we are hosting a product familiarity day at the Chill Factore, Manchester on Tuesday 19th May 2009
or
Xscape on Wednesday 3rd June 2009
where, in conjunction with Fluke Networks, we will be delivering EtherScope user familiarity training free of charge.
Some customer feedback we have received in the past few weeks;
“Does it do more than Cable Testing?”
“I didn’t realise it did wireless as well!”
“Can we remotely control it?”
“Will it provide information on my VLAN’s?
“What are the RFC2544/ITO/Service Performance tests?”
“How do I validate a LAN installation?”
“It spends most of its time in the cupboard and rarely gets rolled out”
Taking these and other comments into consideration, it is obvious that a knowledge gap exists with EtherScope customers - we would like to bridge that gap. Moreover, sensitive to the financial pressures we are all facing at the moment – we are delivering this event at no cost to our customers.
The Schedule for both days is as follows:
09.00 – 09.30 Arrival & Registration
09.30 – 10.45 Measure, Install, Validate & Troubleshoot LAN’s with ES V4.0.4
10.45 – 11.15 Coffee
11.15 – 12.30 Measure, Install, Troubleshoot & Secure WLAN’s with ES V4.0.4
12.30 – 13.30 Lunch
13.30 – 15.00 EtherScope Surgery
